A recent Houzz ® survey of registered users, states that 53% of short-term Millennial homeowners, aged 25-39, report undertaking a renovation project in their home, while a whopping 67% of baby boomers, aged 55-74, and 73% of seniors, those over age 74, undertook projects in 2021.
Houzz ® is one of the remodeling industries leading online consumer resources.
Among the most popular renovation projects with both short-term and long-term homeowners were kitchens, followed by guest baths and primary baths. Remodeled living/family spaces came shortly behind. Long-term homeowners were more apt to take on three interior renovations concurrently, while short-term and recent homebuyers tackled even more projects at one time.

Attention to Detail
Lorey Cavanaugh and her team out did themselves in the design and construction of major renovations to the kitchen and two bathrooms in our 70 year old house. The design is beautiful and functional, taking advantage of every inch of space available. The design flows so expertly it is hard to remember what the place looked like before Lorey worked her magic.
We decided to work with Lorey and her team after our initial consultation. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident right from the start, and continued for the entire project. Our kitchen was gutted down to the bare walls and then rebuilt following the very innovative design that KBDC created for us.
