Modern White Master Bath

This home's original master bath was cramped, uninspiring, and not reflective of the homeowners' tastes or aesthetics.  By taking over adjacent closet space, we were able to substantially expand the bathroom adding heated flooring, a beautifully tiled shower, and bench seat, with a frameless glass shower door.  To adjust for the loss of closet space, we constructed his and her closets in the master bedroom flanking a set of windows. Incorporating a bench seat provides even more storage. The hexagonal floor tile and simple subway tile in the shower are reminiscent of materials used in other baths in the home.  For a sense of warmth, we installed oil-rubbed bronze sconces directly on the vanity mirror and rich wood-toned barn doors at the bath entryway.
