Modern White Master Bath
This home's original master bath was cramped, uninspiring, and not reflective of the homeowners' tastes or aesthetics. By taking over adjacent closet space, we were able to expand the bathroom substantially adding heated flooring, a beautifully tiled shower, and bench seat, with a frameless glass shower door. To adjust for the loss of closet space, we constructed his and her closets flanking a set of windows in the master bedroom, along with a bench seat providing even more storage. The hexagonal floor tile and simple subway tile in the shower are reminiscent of material used in other baths in the home. For a sense of warmth, we installed oil-rubbed bronze sconces directly on the vanity mirror and rich wood-toned barn doors at the bath entryway.
