We Can't Thank You Enough!
As the dust begins to settle here at Kitchen & Bath Design + Construction, we wish to take a moment to reflect, and thank all of those who participated on our 2018 West Hartford Kitchen Tour benefiting The Be Thoughtful Movement. The day was a lot of work, a lot of fun and a great success. We were overwhelmed by everyone’s support and we’d like to extend thanks to all those involved.
First, we would like to say a special Thank You to the homeowners who graciously opened their kitchens for the day. Without their support, there would not have been a tour. Second, we want to enthusiastically thank all of the “tourists” who came out on a beautiful fall day, to benefit such an endearing organization.
Finally, we want to acknowledge and commend the participation of the many “special guests” that were stationed at each home. The day would not have been nearly as enjoyable without their enthusiastic participation. These businesses and individuals included:
Clean Eating Cookbook Author, Terry Walters
Jewelry Designer Diane Samuels of Tandem Jewelry
Author, Teacher and Butterfly Enthusiast, Lynn Rosenblatt
Color Expert, Thomas Mach of Thomas Mach Interiors
Holistic, Clean Home Keeping Expert, Jennifer Mather of Balance & Home
Chef Rebeca Tuinei, of Nala’s Kitchen, West Hartford
Chef Kelley Geller from Cookshop Plus, West Hartford
Staging by Cookshop Plus, West Hartford, and Rondell Goorachan of Ethan Allen, Canton
Smart Home Technology demonstration provided by iDevices, Avon
Fine Art Portrait Photography with Rebecca Rose, Colchester
Our dear friends Jim Leek and Rick Tosti of Ultracraft Cabinetry
And photography of the day generously provided by our “official KBDC photographer”, Chrissy Racho of Lily & Camelia Studio
I would also like to thank my staff who embraced KBDC’s support of The Be Thoughtful Movement, bringing my vision of the Kitchen Tour to life, along with friends and past clients who volunteered their time in making sure the day was a success. On behalf of myself and all of us here at KBDC, we humbly say “Thank you”, and in the words of Harold Johnson, co-founder of The Thoughtful Travelers, “Be Thoughtful”.
We hope you enjoy photos of the kitchen tour in our slideshow below, provided by Chrissy Racho of Lily & Camelia Studio.
