Visit the KBDC Showroom at 13 Sedgwick Road, see this well-appointed space usually only available by appointment, and purchase tickets.
The Hill-Stead Museum will also be a stop on the tour where tourists may glimpse the past with a designer’s rendition of what the kitchen of the Hill-Stead may have looked like when it was the home of the Pope family, including a tour of the museum’s existing Butler’s Pantry. The Hill-Stead will also be offering half-price tours of the museum for Kitchen Tour participants.
Nibbles and sips will be available along the tour route including Milford’s Seasonal Catering providing farm-to-table fare at the Hill-Stead from 11:00-1:00 and Hartford Flavor Company providing samples of their creative botanical concoctions at one of the tour stops from 12:00-4:00. Other attractions include pop up boutiques, Custom Textiles sewing studio displaying home decor, catch a chair massage from Peaceful Surrender, speak with Life Coach Naomi Rafalowicz, ask questions about kitchen planning guidelines, cabinetry construction or current trends in design. It’s all available on the tour!
