Lorey Cavanaugh, Owner

Lorey has been in the kitchen & bath industry for 30 years. Her initial design training & career in corporate interior design and space planning, coupled with a lifelong love of cooking & entertaining, predicted Lorey’s success in this new industry. In 1984, she made a lateral move into kitchen and bath design earning a certificate in kitchen design in 1988 followed by a certificate in bath design in 1990 through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. In 1990 Lorey also began her own business, Kitchen & Bath Design Consultants. As the business grew over the next several years, Lorey wanted to maintain quality in both design and installation changing business models from design consulting to design/build and renaming the company Kitchen & Bath Design + Construction to better reflect what KBDC has to offer. Lorey’s success has been her innate ability to translate a client’s lifestyle, needs and wants into beautiful and functional living spaces. Her designs have won numerous awards, a large referral base, and many happy (and repeat) clients.
